The Fuentes Residence Groundbreaking Ceremony held last March 19, 2025, was more than just the start of a construction project—it was the beginning of a heartfelt journey between JMG Construction and the Fuentes family. Set in the peaceful surroundings of Brgy. Poblacion, El Salvador City, this two-storey residential home is a testament to faith, connection, and well-crafted design.

There are moments in life when the signs are too clear to ignore.

The Fuentes family’s project started not with plans or permits but with a heartfelt prayer. It was a dialogue with the Divine, seeking guidance. Soon after, it felt as if a celestial message was conveyed: “Just do it.”

That sign sparked what we now call The Savior Estate Project—an innovative two-storey residential building tucked in the heart of Brgy. Poblacion, El Salvador City.

The Beginning: More Than a Proposal

It was December 2024, the holidays were approaching, and most people were winding down for Christmas. But not us. Our inbox lit up with project plans from Engr. Emmanuel Fuentes, a respected professional from Philippine Sinter—and coincidentally, the former boss of our Project Engineer, Frankyrex Aldrich Zayas.

We didn’t waste a single day. While families prepared holiday feasts, we poured our energy into crafting accurate estimates, checking every dimension, and cross-referencing every page. We knew in our hearts this project was exceptional. Deep down, we were confident: we were the right team for this.

The Turning Point: A Meeting That Felt Meant to Be

Then came February 2025. I received a call from the owner, asking to meet.

We initially thought this would be a technical discussion, but it was a silent competition. Four contractors met and visited that day, all hoping to win the trust of the Fuentes family.

But something magical happened in that meeting. We talked not just about construction—but about life, values, and books. Yes, books. We discovered that we had both read “Rich Dad, Poor Dad” by Robert Kiyosaki and as we exchanged stories, a natural connection formed. We weren’t just bidding—we were building trust.

By the end of February, JMG Construction was awarded the project.

March 19, 2025: Groundbreaking Day

Fast-forward to March 19. Under overcast skies and hopeful hearts, we gathered to mark the first official step of construction: the groundbreaking.

With hard hats on and shovels in hand, we stood before a printed vision of what would soon rise—a bold, modern Filipino home with warm tones, sleek lines, and thoughtful spaces. The design speaks of innovation, but the day spoke of something more profound: faith, unity, and gratitude.

A priest blessed the site by Father Manny Amanence, prayers were offered, and the capsule was planted. It was more than a ritual—an offering, a commitment to do this right.

With a 6-month timeline, the Fuentes Residence will rise with pre-painted rib-type roofing, grade 40/60 steel, PVC fascia, Wilcon tiles, fiber cement ceilings, and powder-coated sliding windows—a structure not just built to last, but built with heart.

We know that challenges will come. That’s part of every construction journey. But we also know this: we started this project with a prayer, and we’ll finish it with integrity, craftsmanship, and love.
